Sub Sound Effects

Sub sound effects, as in the very bottom of the low end. Booms, deep tonal rumbles, swells and drops made for trailers, plus low frequency sweeteners for putting weight under a creature, a vehicle or a disaster. Drones too. Some sit in wider cinematic sets with whooshes and transitions on top, but the job is mostly the same: something big underneath.

Sub is the layer that goes under everything else. In a Trailer it's the boom on a title card or the swell before a cut, and in a game it's the weight under the footsteps of something enormous. These libraries cover both, with booms and tonal rumbles, plus sweeteners made for creatures and natural disasters. Some sit inside bigger Cinematic sets with whooshes and sci-fi ambiences. On small speakers most of it disappears, so a sub layer is worth checking on proper monitors before anything goes out.
