Orange Sound Effects

Orange sound effects, the fruit, mostly in pieces. Oranges squished and smashed open with juice and pulp going everywhere. Messy. It's the same raw material foley artists use for gore, which is why plenty of these end up in horror films rather than kitchens. There's a cleaner side too, small objects dropped onto different surfaces with a soft bump.

Citrus is great for gore because the peel tears and the inside is wet and stringy. Close to the mic, an orange Squish sounds like something much worse than fruit, and a quick Slice through the peel makes a decent knife wound. Played straight, the same recordings cover cooking scenes and juicing.
