HVAC Sound Effects

HVAC sound effects for the hum behind almost every interior. Air handling units, vents, cooling units and fans, from the ventilation inside hotel rooms to the plant around a cargo port. All hum and drone. Much of it comes as clean loops, with processed versions next to the raw recordings for a room that needs to sound slightly wrong.

Almost every modern building has air moving through it somewhere, and these recordings fill that gap under dialogue. The Ventilation and fan recordings come from several perspectives, so the same unit can sit up front or far back in a room. Hotel recordings get inside the walls, with filter units and cooling compressors. Bigger spaces are covered too. Textile, printing and packaging machinery, cargo ports and a machine shop running on compressed air give the Industrial end. Offices and spaceship corridors both need a bit of air in them.
