Fall Sound Effects

Fall sound effects, from a cartoon tumble to a building coming down. The comedy side is big: falling whistles, bonks, boings and crashes for characters going over the edge. Then the real stuff, trees toppling and buildings collapsing into rubble. Gravity always wins. The only question is whether the landing should be funny or frightening.

A cartoon fall has a classic shape: the whistle that drops in pitch on the way down, a moment of silence, then the Crash. The gap is what gets the laugh. Animation libraries here have plenty of variations so you can match the drop to the height. Real falls are about weight. A collapsing building is a long roll of Debris that can run for ages, while a log hitting the forest floor thuds and cracks, then lies still.
