A dungeon is mostly ambience with a few sharp moments. The soundscapes build the bed, with looping drips and echoes, and whispers and screams placed in so the dark never sits empty. The horror backgrounds add rain and footsteps. Doors were recorded in historic locations from several positions, everyday creaks through to proper slams, and they work just as well up in the Castle. The traps are the sharp moments: axes and darts for when a player steps on the wrong stone. Wider fantasy and underground collections fill in the rest, from creatures and magic to caves below the keep.
