Double Jump Sound Effects

Double Jump sound effects for that extra hop in mid air, a push off nothing at all. Some games give it a voice. A quick grunt or hup. Others use a designed sound instead, a cartoon whoosh or a bright anime swish, and here you'll find both, with voice sets for wizards, robots, ghosts and giants alongside the cartoon stuff.

A double jump needs a different sound from the ordinary jump, or players can't tell they've used it. Usually it's higher, shorter and a little more magical, with a whoosh or sparkle under the effort. The character libraries keep their efforts in the same voice as their Battle Cry and Dialogue recordings, so a wizard hops the way he talks. The anime and cartoon sets supply the designed layer. Put a short grunt on top of a swish and the move reads straight away, even in a busy mix.
