Confirmation Sound Effects

Confirmation sound effects are all about the yes. A button pressed and accepted, an achievement unlocked. Most are crisp UI clicks and success notifications for games and apps. Others are spoken, with computer voices in male, female and child versions saying the words, which suits sci-fi interfaces and digital assistants. A good confirmation says it worked and gets out of the way.

In a menu, the confirm gets pressed more than anything else, so it pays to keep it short and easy on repeat. The click libraries cover buttons and confirmations with selects and toggles around them, and the casual game sets add achievements and notifications in the same style. When a confirm needs its opposite, Denial has the no. The voice libraries are a different tool. Computerised voices say confirmations and action words, with space vocabulary too, which suits a ship's computer or a robot that answers back.
