44 Magnum Sound Effects

44 Magnum sound effects for the revolver that made the round famous on screen. Big, heavy shots recorded clean and raw, with the full foley around them: the cylinder opening, rounds loaded, the hammer drawn back. Then the brass. Spent casings dropping and rolling on concrete, stone, metal and more, recorded on their own so you can place every one.

A 44 Magnum is a lot of gun for a handgun, and the sound should feel that way, a deep, punchy boom with a long tail rather than a sharp pop. The Revolver recordings give you that alongside the handling. The shell libraries are a separate treat: Casing drops across lots of calibres and surfaces, handy for the moment a cylinder is emptied onto the floor. Westerns, cop thrillers and shooters all use them.
