We created Surrounded by Crowds to capture the feeling of being right in the middle of a buzzing, energetic group of people. These long-form Ambisonics recordings place you inside natural crowd environments, people chatting, laughing, reacting, clapping, and moving around you in all directions.
Recorded across multiple countries, these crowds feature multilingual walla, giving the library a rich, international character. Whether it’s a public event, a busy square, or an open social gathering, every sound was captured using Ambisonics B-format (AmbiX) to preserve the immersive depth and spatial movement of the scene.
