General Ambience Series – Rural Countryside 01

In this library you will find sounds of the countryside, nature and rural soundscapes recorded in the heart of agricultural areas, farms and different woodlands.

Get the sounds of the pasture, hear the solo woodwinds that always paints the pastorale in an intimate archetypal way. The main inhabitants of this idyll are songbirds and their beautiful songs constitute the second main element of these quiet, tranquil and open soundscapes. Let the beautiful songs of Nightingales, Golden Orioles, Thrushes, Skylarks or Red Robins take you to a peaceful summer garden.

The different recording locations where carefully selected to provide a good amount of variety featuring different times of day. Besides the main two elements, wind and songbirds, I’ve recorded the noises in the rural soundscape as well as it’s quietudes. Hear the wind rushing through open planes, soft rain dripping on foliage, wheat field sizzling in the summer sun, tractors and farm animals, leisure activities, etc. Add a sense of space and openness to your project with these beautifully recorded tranquil nature back drops.

This library is a hybrid production that consists of recorded organic sources and content that was synthesized and tailored from the ground up. For the organic sources I used recordings made with contact mics and geophones, as well as regular close-up and ambience recordings. For the synthetic sources, I used lots of different hardware and software synths and other tone generators.
