“South African Crickets” contains over 3 hours of long, lush stereo nature ambiences (average duration: 5 minutes), collected from all over southern Africa. Included are sounds from Graskop, Kruger National Park, The Wetlands and Swaziland. Recording time: Early morning, midday, evening and night time. Featuring all sorts of crickets and cicadas, of course – but there’s also plenty of other South African wildlife, like mosquitoes, birds, fighting baboons and snorting hippos. Additional ambiences include: Small rivers, lakes, swamps and light, medium or heavy African rain on leaves, bushes or cabin roofs.
