Spectral Vibrations: Gun Mechanics – UK Police Issue

This is the very first sound library from Spectral Vibrations, all recorded, edited and mastered by Graham Donnelly.

The library contains 254 sounds of various gun mechanics and their movements.

All weapons included are standard UK Police issue. Note: All firearms used by UK Police forces are locked off to Semi Automatic due to our laws governing firearms.

The files are extremely short, as the actions are quick.

This library aims to speak to Video game sound folks, as each action has various different performances captured, which allows for slight variations between the sounds and yet maintains a similarity.

Each sound has been meticulously edited individually, allowing very little HDD space to be used up. (Final Zip File is a mere 72mb)

All files were recorded and are delivered in 24bit 48kHz Broadcast Wave files, all embedded with Sound Miner Metadata for easy import and navigation when searching for the files.

All sounds were recorded on location in the south of the UK, in an indoor firing range, under supervision from an armed Police Unit.

Sounds recorded directly into Pro Tools through a Pre Sonus DigiMax Pre amp and captured through a Sontronics STC-2 Microphone.
