Throat Sound Effects

Throat sound effects, from a polite cough to a throat being shredded. Coughs come from young and old, light to hard, some with a real illness behind them. Breaths and burps too. Then the horror end: zombie growls and distorted screams, and a tiger for good measure.

The zombie sets start in a human throat, designed from voice actors' breathy groans and deep grunts. Orc voices sit alongside, with dragon roars and other dark creatures. The horror vocal library goes further, distorting and glitching screams and throat shreds until they stop sounding human. The real side is plainer. The cough recordings come from children as well as adults, and there's more close work in Breathing. A cough in the right place can tell a scene a character is ill before anyone says so.
