Mouth Sound Effects

Mouth sound effects for all the little noises people make without words. Wet little details. Tongue clicks, lip pops, kisses and swallows, with breathing in every mood from calm to panicked. Most were recorded close in quiet studios, men and women both. There's even a whole interface library made entirely with a mouth, clicks and pops standing in for buttons.

Mouth noise is something dialogue editors spend hours cleaning out, which is exactly why these are useful when a scene needs it back on purpose. Tiny, but telling. A nervous swallow in an interrogation or a gasp before a scare carries a lot of story for something so small. The breath libraries matter most for games, where breathing has to follow the action from steady to completely winded, and Sigh and Nose sounds fill in the rest of the face. Animation and audio drama use them constantly.
