Surreal Sound Effects

Surreal sound effects for when the room stops making sense. Abstract ambiences blending real field recordings with synthetic layers, dark sci-fi drones, static and hums, and textures built from guitars and kalimbas bent out of shape. Plenty of reverses and transitions. Eerie, mostly, and very good at making an audience feel slightly wrong.

Surreal sound works when something is almost familiar: a real place with a synthetic layer over it, or a guitar reversed until it's barely a guitar. For pure dread there's Dark Drone. Some of the ambiences come as a full mix plus the parts, so you can rebuild them to fit the cut, and the tighter moments sit in Suspense. The delay textures add movement under a dream sequence or a long sci-fi corridor.
