Skoda Sound Effects

Skoda sound effects recorded from the cars themselves, old and new. A boxy Czech compact from the communist years, everyday family cars, a little city car, a modern crossover, and a rally car flat out on the stages. Most of them get the full going over, from driving and doors down to the clicks and whirs under the dash. Plain cars, mostly. That's exactly why they're useful.

Ordinary cars are what most scenes actually need. A police procedural or a family drama doesn't want a supercar, it wants a hatchback pulling up outside a house. These libraries follow a set pattern: driving, interior and exterior foley, mechanical and electrical, so you get the seatbelt, the indicator, the Handbrake and the door as well as the engine. The rally car is the odd one out. Loud and raw, recorded onboard and from the roadside. More small cars sit in City Car.
