A scratch behind a wall or a low texture under the dialogue often does more than a loud hit, and most of this is built from exactly that, with Thriller transitions for the cuts in between. The scratch recordings drag a Nail, metal and coins over everyday surfaces, organic enough to sit in a real room. The electronic textures start from noise sources and ground vibration, processed until the source is gone. When the scene needs a face, the demon dialogue gives a sinister character lines from mockery to interrogation.
