Shatter Sound Effects

Shatter sound effects, for when something goes everywhere at once. Glass is the obvious one, smashed and broken across different surfaces, with bullets through glass as well. Bricks and rock get the same treatment, shattering and tumbling, and so does ice. Big or small. They suit game destruction and every window in an action film that's about to go.

A good shatter usually comes in layers: the hit that starts it and the pieces still falling after. The stone side was recorded outdoors, from bricks shattering to rocks thrown at boulders. Glass gets as much care, breaking and smashing over different surfaces, with the small stuff gathered in Glass Shard. Then there's the tail. Debris fills that in nicely. A few sets take the designed route with explosions and elemental impacts, which suits trailers and fantasy combat where a shatter needs to be bigger than life.
