Rolls Royce Sound Effects

Rolls Royce sound effects for the cars and the engines. There's a pre-war car gliding along, horn and all, and a stately saloon from a later era recorded inside and out. Then the engines that made the name in wartime, fitted to fighter planes and a British tank. The planes fire up and roar past. Smooth, until it isn't.

The fighter recordings are the big draw. Start-ups, ground runs at full power, take-offs, landings and low passes, the deep growl of a big piston engine at work. They suit war films and anything with a Warbird in it. The tank brings the same engine family down to earth, with tracks clanking underneath. The cars are quieter and slower, which is rather the idea for a period drama.
