Pyrotechnics Sound Effects

Pyrotechnics sound effects, mostly fireworks, from a single rocket to a full display. Launch whistles, the thump of a shell, the crackle as it opens up and the echo rolling back off the buildings. Some are close and isolated for building your own. Others are long distant takes with the crowd cheering. Mine blasts turn up too, plus designed fire whooshes.

Fireworks are hard to record well. They're loud and they bounce off everything nearby, so the place matters as much as the rocket. The distant takes carry that, with echoes coming back off streets and buildings, which is what makes a celebration sound like a real town. The close Firework recordings are cleaner, ready to stack a launch and a burst into your own display. For bigger booms there's Explosion, and the fizzing tail of a shell has more company under Crackle. Editors use them for festivals and New Year scenes. Games put them on victory screens.
