Pig Sound Effects

Pig sound effects from farms and petting zoos, plus a few that aren't real pigs at all. Grunts and groans, recorded close and from across the yard, sitting in among cows and chickens. Some come from dedicated pig sessions. Others are voice actors doing their best oink, and pigs even turn up in horror and cartoon libraries.

A pig is a busy animal to listen to. The grunting barely stops while it roots about, and that low, contented noise is what makes a farmyard feel lived in. Lay a few grunts over the ambience with Chicken and Cow and the yard fills itself in. The groans and close recordings work as horror source too. Pitched down and slowed, a pig turns into something much worse. For comedy, the impersonated oinks and cartoon takes get there quicker.
