Peterbilt sound effects from the long-nosed American trucks that rule the highway in films. Big diesel idles and the engine brake barking down a hill. Loud. Recorded from the cab and from the roadside, with the gearbox and pedals up close, so the interior sounds as good as the pass-by.
Most of these follow a classic Truck from start to stop: idle, pull away, run through the gears, pass by, shut down. The cab recordings get in close on the Gearstick and the pedals, and there are surround interior takes as well. A general pass-by library puts the trucks among cars from other eras. Convoy scenes and trucking games use them.
