Motocross Sound Effects

Motocross sound effects with mud on them. Dirt bikes ridden hard, recorded on the bike and from the side of the track, through starts, revs, passes and jumps. The engine screams. Then it lifts off and lands. Enduro trail riding is here too, plus tyre slides on loose ground and a quad bike for good measure.

Where the mic sits changes everything with a motocross bike. On board you get the engine right underneath and every flick of the throttle. By the track you get the pass, the pitch dropping as it goes by, and the gap before the next bike. These recordings cover both, often at the same moment, so a cut from the helmet camera to the wide shot still matches. Smaller bikes ring and crackle. Bigger ones thump. For more off-road riding see Dirt Bike, and for slides and scuffs on loose ground there's Tyre. Racing games and extreme sports edits are the usual home for them.
