Hot Air Gun sound effects recorded from the real tool, the steady rush of air from a heat gun's fan. It sits in a power tool collection full of small motors, with bursts, long runs and that whine revving up and down. Very whizzy. It's useful well beyond the workshop, too.
A heat gun is mostly air and motor, so it works as foley for stripping paint or shrinking a cable sleeve, and it sits in the same collection as an Angle Grinder and a router. Slow it down and it becomes a spaceship. Speed it up for a robot. That makes it raw material for sci-fi as much as foley, and it's royalty-free.
