Foot Sound Effects

Foot sound effects for everything feet do besides walk politely. Bare feet and boots crunching over broken glass and porcelain, or scuffing and landing from jumps. Lots of crunch. Feet hitting the floor as part of a bodyfall, recorded separately from knees and hands. Then whole crowds of them: soldiers marching through mud and running through forest into battle.

Feet carry a lot of a scene. A character creeping over Shattered Glass says they're scared before they speak, and a sprint across the same floor says they've stopped caring. For battle, the crowd feet come in groups, so a March through mud sounds like an army rather than someone stamping in a puddle. The bodyfall recordings let you build a fall from parts, feet first, then knees, hands and chest, at several distances and strengths.
