Entrance Sound Effects

Entrance sound effects for every kind of arrival. RPG heroes announce themselves with entrance lines, male and female, for each class from fighter to rogue. Doors and gates creak open and slam. A temple bell rings on the way in. Then the busy kind, with station entrances in a big city and crowds milling round a fairground.

An entrance needs a sound that marks the step from outside to in. In a game, the hero's entrance line plays as they join the party, then an Unlock and a heavy dungeon slam set up the next room. On screen, a bell at a Temple door does the same job, and so does a station crowd swelling as someone walks in off the street. Breaching a building? There's a set of indoor gunshots and explosions recorded at several distances through corridors and stairwells, so the bang changes as the team moves inside.
