Doppler Sound Effects

Doppler sound effects for anything that comes at you and goes past. The pitch sits high on the way in and drops as it passes, and these libraries are built around that. Emergency sirens arriving, passing and driving away at different speeds. Designed swooshes too. Some sets include dry versions with no doppler, so you can add your own movement.

Sirens are the classic doppler job, and the emergency libraries record them arriving, passing and pulling away at several distances and speeds. That covers Police cars, Ambulance runs and fire sirens. Underwater, a dual-mic setup over and under the surface catches dopplers in the water. Odd and useful. The designed side mixes organic recordings with processed motion, and some libraries give each sound with and without the pitch shift, which helps when the speed in your edit doesn't match the recording. Energy weapons and whooshes round it out for sci-fi fly-bys and fast transitions in trailers.
