Bangkok Sound Effects

Bangkok sound effects from the streets and stations of the Thai capital. Motor scooters and traffic at multi-lane intersections, crowds on train platforms and at metro entrances, a market food court and airport departures. Rarely still. It suits travel films and thrillers set anywhere in the city.

Bangkok has an elevated skytrain and an underground metro, and the crowd recordings catch both at their station entrances, along with a main line platform and an airport departure hall. The big rail station gets more detail still: boarding gates, seating and ticket sales, with PA announcements, footsteps, luggage and ticket machines over distant trains. Busy places. Out on the road there are motor scooters and wide intersections, and the Market side brings a food court full of people. A school lounge is in there too, which helps when a scene needs ordinary chatter rather than tourist bustle.
