Tentacle Sound Effects

Tentacle sound effects, wet and wriggly. Slimy limbs slapping down and sliding off whatever they've grabbed. Sea monsters and giant octopus creatures moving and attacking, plus close foley of wet, slithery movement, which is the raw stuff a lot of tentacles get built from. Properly squelchy. Lovely, if you like that sort of thing.

Tentacles are mostly a Wet foley job, because there's no real animal voice to record. The wet movement recordings here cover tongues and tentacles sliding and squirming, ready to layer under a creature. The monster libraries add the rest: sea creatures and octopus-like beasts attacking and calling out at different sizes, and some come with a proper Growl. Small or huge. When sound designers build tentacles from scratch they tend to reach for wet cloth, rubber gloves, fruit and plenty of water, so close foley like this saves a messy afternoon. Horror games and creature features both use it.
