Taser Sound Effects

Taser sound effects live somewhere between a gunshot and a spark. A real taser makes a rapid electric crackle, more ticking arc than bang. You'll find that crackle in close recordings of electric coils, zaps and buzzes ready to shape into a stun gun, alongside bigger collections of modern and sci-fi weapons. It's a nasty little sound, and it should be.

A taser sound is usually built in layers: a mechanical click for the trigger, a short pop as the probes fire, then the crackling arc that holds while the charge runs. The coil recordings here give you that arc, with zaps and crackles clean enough to cut short or loop. The weapon libraries add the rest of the scene, from sidearms to sci-fi blasters, and there's more firepower in Weapons Pack. It turns up in cop dramas, shooters and sci-fi games.
