Spice Sound Effects

Spice sound effects ground and crushed. A mortar and pestle working through herbs and spices, from soft sandy scrapes to gritty stone on stone. Dried seeds and nuts too. In the kitchen there's chopping and sizzling pans. Then the magic side, where spices go into a bubbling cauldron to become a potion.

Spice work is all close detail. A Grind in a stone bowl has a gritty, steady scrape that sells a cook or an apothecary in a single shot, and recorded close it still holds up when the camera pushes in. For cooking adverts and food shows, the kitchen foley covers the chopping and the pan. In games, the same textures drive a crafting screen: ingredients chopped, crushed and dropped into a Cauldron, the bottle filled, the Potion drunk. Herbs dried and gathered, and a witch's cat, round out the cottage.
