Slab Sound Effects

Slab sound effects come from wider sets of stone and wood. Stone doors from small to properly heavy, with brick and grate alongside. Then wood: chunks and blocks dropped over and over, across lots of timber types. Weighty stuff. They suit tombs and dungeons.

A slab is all about mass. A stone door across a tomb entrance, or a thick chunk of timber hitting the floor, needs low weight and a short, hard edge, and more of the wooden kind lands in Wood Impact. The stone doors cover the heavy end, and the wood drops were recorded on several microphones at once, so there's room to blend them.
