The Skyline recordings take in the engine, the exhaust and the cabin, with ambisonic takes and pre-aligned editing sessions, so a pass-by can cut straight to the driver's seat. The street racer adds turbo and wastegate noise with backfires, which suits a night run through the city. Very loud. For the other sort of skyline, the street and Subway recordings carry a big city's traffic and crowds, and trams squeak through the city exteriors. Rain on empty streets, with drippy gutters and thunder, puts a storm over the whole view.
