Projectile sound effects for anything launched at something else. Plenty of it is magic: fire, ice, electric and dark spells flung across a fight, with hits and misses for role playing games. The rest is hardware. Cannon shot landing near and far, next to musket fire. Siege engines and futuristic weapons too, plus fireworks for the friendlier kind.

A projectile has a launch and a landing, and they work best treated separately. Some of the magic sets come in parts, so the cast and the impact can be lined up to the animation, with misses for when a shot goes wide and critical hits for when it lands hard. There's more of that in Spell. On the real side, the naval recordings pair broadsides and musket fire with impacts near and far, and heavier guns sit in Cannon. Sci-fi weapons are partly built from everyday objects, and anime combat sets cover the stylised end. The mix suits action games most, though a good impact works just as well in an animated fight.
