Pin Sound Effects

Pin sound effects from the bowling alley and the golf course. Bowling pins crashing, scattering and clattering back into place as the machine resets them, recorded in real alleys. On the golf side the pin is the flagstick, and it comes with swings, hits, buggies and hazards from around the course. If it's a dropped sewing pin you're after, that's a different sound.

Pins are hard wood with a plastic coat, so they crack and clatter rather than thud. A strike is a burst of collisions, pins hitting pins and the side walls, and the Roll of the ball leads into it. On the golf side, a Golf Cart gets you between holes. All of it is recorded close, in real places.
