Nintendo Sound Effects

Nintendo sound effects in the old console style, not lifted from any actual game. Bleeps, jumps, pickups, power-ups and menu blips with that chunky early home console feel, ready for a retro platformer. Short and snappy. There's also something odder: the electromagnetic hum and buzz picked up from real games consoles and gadgets.

Those early consoles had very limited sound chips, which is why their effects are so simple and so easy to recognise. A jump is a tone sliding upwards. A hit is a burst of noise. The libraries here recreate that style for UI and game actions, with Gameboy close by for handheld flavour. The EMF recordings go the other way, catching the hidden electrical noise inside real hardware. Good glitch material.
