Hellcat Sound Effects

Hellcat sound effects, and the name covers a few very different machines. There's the supercharged muscle car with the whine, plus an SUV running the same engine. Wartime ones too. A tank destroyer firing its gun and a carrier fighter plane, with engines, pass-bys, onboard runs and flybys recorded across the lot.

What does a Hellcat sound like? The car has a deep, uneven idle from its supercharged Hemi and a whine that climbs with the revs. That whine is the signature sound, and here it's recorded onboard and from outside as the car goes past. The other Hellcats are wartime machines. Very different sounds. The fighter plane is a radial engine, recorded on the ground and in the air, and the tank destroyer is engine and turret, with a gun that fires a sharp, heavy Muzzle Blast. The car ends up in adverts and racing games, and the older machines in war films.
