Gasp Sound Effects

Gasp sound effects for the sharp breath in, when something goes very wrong or very right. Kids gasp in surprise. Adult gasps from men and women sit among the sighs, yawns, swallows and hiccups of the mouth noise sets, some of them on close mics. Then it gets darker, with undead creatures that go from haunting gasps to guttural growls.

Add Undead Creature to cart

A gasp is a quick, sharp intake of breath, and in an edit it does a lot of heavy lifting for something so short. The mouth noise libraries were performed by male and female actors, some of it on close mics, so the gasp sits right on the character, next to Breathing, sniffs and a Sigh from the same performers. That keeps a performance consistent across a scene. The kids' reactions suit animation and family games, with laughs and wow moments alongside the gasps. Fight voice sets bring combat vocalisations and breathing for fighting characters. The undead gasps are another thing entirely, and they suit horror games and zombie films.
