Firearm Sound Effects

Firearm sound effects from the shot to the brass hitting the floor. Handguns and rifles fired outdoors and in rooms that shape every bang. Old muskets loaded by hand. Spent shells bouncing off concrete and tinkling across wood. Then the mechanical detail, slides and suppressors recorded close enough to feel the springs.

The bang is only the start of a convincing gunshot. The room or landscape answering back tells the audience where they are, which is why the indoor libraries here fire the same guns in different rooms at several distances. Raw and cleaned versions give you a choice between the full environment and a tight shot to build on. Metal sweetener sets add hyper-real mechanics for games, where every Gunshot needs a bit more snap than real life gives it. Then the small stuff sells it, the Magazine going in and the shell casing landing. Historical muskets and designed sci-fi guns stretch the range either side of modern firearms.
