Cybernetic Sound Effects

Cybernetic sound effects for bodies and machines that have been upgraded. Mecha footsteps and servo movements, transformations and scanning sequences, processed voice lines, and the weapons that come with all that kit. Plasma cannons and laser shots. Then the glitches. Electromagnetic noise captured from real devices, for when the wiring starts to go.

Cybernetic sound design usually blends the real with the synthetic. A servo or a footstep can start as a recorded machine and get pushed into future tech, and one weapon library puts designed plasma guns next to real wartime firearm recordings. For a Cyborg or a mech, the movement and voice sets let the body and its weapons come from the same world. Shots, bursts and blasts cover the combat, with more of the beam side in Laser. The electromagnetic glitches sit underneath, the faults in the system for when a robot takes damage or a suit starts to fail.
