Cuckoo Clock Sound Effects

Cuckoo Clock sound effects from a genuine antique German clock. The cuckoo call itself, made by bellows pushing air through little whistles, plus the whirr and clunk of the works getting ready for it. Silly and lovely in equal measure. Around it sit plenty of other clocks, ticking and chiming, right up to grandfather clocks.

A cuckoo clock does a lot more than cuckoo. There's the steady Tick all day, then the whirr as the mechanism trips and the bellows sigh before the call. Winding it up is a sound too, and there's more of that in Winding. The other clock libraries add a Grandfather Clock and smaller timepieces, enough for a whole room full of ticking. They get used in fairy tales and comedy, where a cuckoo on cue gets a laugh.
