Bell Sound Effects

Bell sound effects from the church tower to the boxing ring. Church bells tolling slowly over a medieval town while everyone below gets on with their day, then the sharp clang that sends the fighters back to their corners at the end of a round. Ding. Game show dings, slot machine wins, cartoon bells for a bright idea and the little bell on a kick scooter. Hard to ignore.

A bell is a strike followed by a long ring, and the ring is what tells you the size. Tiny bells sparkle. A big church bell hums on long after the hit, with a weight close to a Gong and a low shimmer that seems to hang over the rooftops for ages after the rope has stopped moving. That's why bells work so well as signals, like a Notification in an app or a win in a game. Cartoon bells push it further. They ring over a character's head when the penny drops.
