Ambient Sound Effects

Ambient sound effects for the bed under everything else. Forest air with distant birds and deep sea rumbles for a submarine, then a lot of the darker kind: drones and eerie textures for horror and sci-fi. Background, mostly. There's even a set of abstract interface sounds for ambient puzzle games.

A forest bed carries a cut from shot to shot, and city traffic with helicopters overhead gives a street scene its size. The designed side does a different job. A slow Drone builds Tension under a corridor walk, and the post apocalyptic textures suit abandoned facilities and Dystopian worlds. Deep underwater atmospheres work for submarine scenes and slow motion shots in water. Long, steady beds like these are easy to lay under dialogue and leave running.
