Shetland Pony Vox

Sammy is a 33-year-old Shetland pony living out his retirement surrounded by vineyards in the south of France. He loves his food and at 5 pm every day he lets you know, as you can hear. When he sees a bucket of food in hand he gives off a single whinny, followed by many nickers.

I was able to get these recordings over 3 weeks by pointing an MKH-416 where he normally stands waiting for his fill and hitting record before I took him his food. These are the best of the bunch, cleaned up and normalized to -1dBFS using Pro Tools and Izotope RX4.
