This is the most amusing part of the work in the production musical process for a video game , you have to invent the FX. A game can contain around 250 different sound effects, each one is linked to a player’s action. Opening a door can be different according if it is a wooden, a metallic or a sliding door but this is rather easy to do. A spider eating a fly, a whale opening her mouth ,a monkey eating a banana, crushing a creep is much more difficult to imitate. You have to imagine sounds . A sound associated to different objects or different actions can produce funny or scary game play , for example a stork snapping its beak, crabs running on a shore to the sea but also scissors when these crabs have to cut a rope.
Each volume of my best FX (30 video games ) contains 575 FX ,they are separated in 2 volumes ,( serie 1 to 15 in vol 1 and serie from 16 to 30 in vol 2) but each volume contains many unique sounds
