Woodchipper sound effects for the machine nobody wants to stand too close to. The engine idling with a hungry drone, then the roar and crunch as a branch gets fed in. Brutal. They sit among bigger machine collections, with forestry work and industrial plant rooms on the same shelf.
A woodchipper changes completely the moment something goes in. Idle, it's a steady engine drone. Feeding, it's a violent grind that shifts with every branch. The industrial recordings add an Industrial Machine hum for a yard or plant room. Comedy and horror both know what to do with it, for very different reasons.
