Slip Sound Effects

Slip sound effects for the banana skin moment. A slide whistle zooming up as the feet go, then the crash on the way down. Classic. The cartoon libraries do this sort of thing well, and there's an entire fart library on the shelf too, for when the slip is a different kind of accident.

Comedy slips are built, not recorded. A Slapstick slip usually starts with a squeak or a whistle as the foot goes and ends with a landing far louder than it should be. The cartoon sets make those from real props, the slide whistle and a Harmonica among them. Animators have used the same trick for generations.
