Rev Limiter Sound Effects

Rev Limiter sound effects, the stutter you get when an engine hits the cut and bounces off it. Here it's recorded on a V-twin road bike, with a superbike alongside for the revs, idles, starts and onboard runs around it. Proper angry. It suits races and anyone showing off at the lights.

A limiter cuts the spark or fuel the moment the engine reaches its ceiling, then lets it back in, so you hear a fast, ragged bounce instead of a clean howl. On a V-Twin it's choppy and loud, and there's foley too, right down to the Kickstand. The engine and exhaust are recorded on separate channels, which lets you push the bark or the mechanical side.
