Mana Sound Effects

Mana sound effects sit inside a wider mix here. Odd company. On the retro side there are sounds made on an old handheld console's sound chip, straight out of the pixel era. On the fantasy side there's a small, pitched gnome and a menacing rogue with a dry, dark voice, both with battle cries and scripted dialogue for RPGs.

Mana has no fixed sound, which is the fun of it. The retro sounds suit pickups and refills in a pixel game, where short and bright is what reads. Both voices shout a proper Battle Cry, and the gnome pitches down nicely into a troll or a Goblin. They're clean enough to process further, so the rogue can stay dry for an assassin or go darker for an undead enemy.
