Kneel Sound Effects

Kneel sound effects sit inside a wider footsteps collection rather than a set of their own. What it does hold is walking and running across laminate floors and cement pavement, recorded in a foley suite. Dry and clean. The steps either side of a kneel are often what sells it.

A kneel is usually built from foley: the last Step in, a weight shift, then the knee meeting the floor. Matching the floor matters more than anything, so a kneel on Laminate or Pavement wants the same surface under the walk that leads up to it. Get that wrong and the floor changes halfway through the move.
